Gen, thanks so much for watching and commenting! And good luck to you in your New York City career and studies. (Very exciting!)
thank you for sharing yur ideas!
Jose, you’re right actually. The table cloth makes it “old.” The homeowners just ditched the table and got a small square glass-topped table and it made the eat-in area look more modern. Good spot!
idon,t know its grandma ish i felt old.. but ifyou love it thats what counts
Not to worry; the people who live here have a whacky sense of humor and don’t come from the U.S. They like to celebrate the cheap and tacky and kitchy along with the high-end luxurious. (And they just confirmed that the tablecloth was only about 50 cents — so you were right!) LOL
hello i am sorry did not mean to sound rude …you know the more i look at it…was not that bad…anyways who are we too pick on another persons castle!
Update: The table is gone from this kitchen and replaced by a glass-topped bistro table.
it ***** like the cheap table cloth !looks like a sleazy 3 rd rate diner tabel in NY what was the budget 50 cents?
This apartment was featured in House & Home in the NY Times by Mitchell Owens, style editor of Elle Decor. Taste is definitely up to the individual, and what I liked about this kitchen was that it didn’t take itself too seriously. Pick up an issue of The World of Interiors and you’ll see a looser style of design than you’re apparently used to.
Get real! How long do you expect peoople to look at your stupid table and plastic ‘table cloth’. You have been watching too many HGTV shows and now you think you are a decorator! This video makes me laugh. You cannot be serious.
